The six Democratic candidates for the Livingston County Commission plan a major policy announcement on Tuesday, June 19, designed to end a Decade of Neglect under Republican rule in Livingston County.
Come and hear their bold proposal covering a topic of interest to all Livingston County residents.
Candidates will make the announcement at a meet-and-greet fundraiser at Cleary’s Pub, 117 E. Grand River, Howell. Doors will open at 6:30 p.m. The candidates will speak starting at 7:30 p.m.
Speaking will be: Jennifer Garcia of Hartland Township, District 2; Steve Savela of Hartland Township, District 3; Maureen Martin of Unadilla Township, District 4; Alex Hansen of Howell Township, District 5; Kasey Helton of Marion Township, District 6, and Kristina Drake of Hamburg Township, District 8.
The event will include appetizers, a cash bar, and music by Jennifer Garcia’s band, the “Jenn and Tonics.”
Tickets for the event are $15, $30, $50, $100, and $250 and may be purchased at the door by check or on-line at: https://secure.actblue.com/donate/countycomm. No cash can be accepted.
