Come See Al Gore Film with Gore Live-Stream

Remember Al Gore’s great film on climate change, An Inconvenient Truth?

The former vice president has a sequel and you have a chance to see it in Livingston County this month.

An Inconvenient Sequel: Truth to Power will be shown on Thursday, Oct. 26, at the Community Unitarian Universalists in Brighton. A live-stream question and answer period with Al Gore will precede the showing.

This important sequel shows just how close we are to a real energy revolution. Cameras follow the former vice president as he continues his tireless fight, traveling around the world training an army of climate champions and influencing international climate policy.
The film includes many behind the scenes moments with him -- both private and public, funny and poignant — as he pursues the inspirational idea that, while the stakes have never been higher, the perils of climate change can be overcome with human ingenuity and passion.

The showing will be at the CUUB facility, 3333 S. Old US23, in Brighton Township.

Doors open at 6:15 p.m., with the live-stream at 6:45 p.m. The film will be shown at 7:30 p.m.

Light refreshments will be served. Donations will be accepted to cover the cost of the film.

The partnership presented the film include CUUB, Livingston County Democrats, Sierra Club—Crossroads Group, Livingston Land Conservancy, and St. Paul’s Episcopal Church.
